Just shipped it off via USPS yesterday. Traded for a 2014 Gibson Melody Maker. It's not that I don't like Teles, I just really have a thing for the reissue MMs with single coils. The 2014 has P90-S style P90s. Not a big fan of the slug magnet P9i0, but I can maintain. It will join my 2007 MM.

I will try my best, seriously, to get another Tele. Can I still play in this sandbox? :(

Oh, yeah, pics or it didn't happen. When it arrives, that is. Unless they pull your TDPRI card in the meantime. It's kind of like your man card, but you just put it somewhere else. Wait, that did not come out right...

I too have an '07 MM, duel pick up to boot...yahoo! I like it! I had one of those '14 MM's and didn't bond with it. They weren't quite like the original style MM. Hope you have better luck.
Who knows...you might not like it and retrieve the ole Tele...lol jk
    Regardless...noboby's kickin' you out. Enjoy!
    And don't forget...pixs or it didn't happen.

I've been member here for years without owning a tele.... This a good place to be whatever guitars you might have.

... I do have a guitar with tele hardware and electronics now - but it isn't shaped like a tele.

USPS said it would be here today. Now they say it will late. I hate waiting for any package, but especially a guitar! It's like they delayed Christmas to the 26th!

Yeah, if it’s sunburst you’re outta this forum, white and yiu can maybe join in occasionally! Purely arbitrary judgement, see what others say.

Yeah! Those were nice, real old school P90. Isn't the body made from Spanish cedar?

Foucault's pendulum, interesting book. Oh, and the guitar looks wicked too! :)

Good eyes! Thanks. I've sold nearly all my books lately. Due to eye problems I'm pretty much restricted to reading on a Kindle. Some I just couldn't part with, though.

I have also a 2014MM, in yellow tv... love it ! These P90 SR and ST are actually cool, I like them a lot.
If you want to change the pickups, you have to know that their route (especially the bridge) is not very deep, so you cannot fit regular P90 without either rerouting or cutting the poles underneath flush...
