Cinderella may not be for everyone but they are a super tight group that never fails to put on a great show.....the guitar/amp envy was running high last night! Telecasters, early Les Pauls, fabulous double neck SG's etc etc..

Is that a new pic or an 80s flashback? I saw Cinderella open for David Lee Roth in Charlotte, 1986. I thought they were tight. Keifer was always grotesquely underrated as a player, IMHO. Maybe the screachy voice was the distraction....

I agree whole-heartedly. I saw them last year and again just today at Rock Fest in Cadott, Wisconsin.

Keifer is excellent and very talented. The guitars he plays had me drooling, even the clear Ampeg Dan Armstrong. It's a little scary though, whenever he changes guitars, he throws it about thirty feet to a crew guy, and his next guitar comes flying to him from backstage as well... even the doubleneck SG.
I became a Cinderella fan after seeing them last year, I bought all their CD's after that... they put on the best show I saw at two years of Rockfest.

I saw them front row last year and have 5th row seats for Charlotte, I echo the guitar throwing, scary, also there was security right below Jeff LaBar and everytime he threw his guitar around his body he cam within inches of nailing the security guys head....great guitar porn at their shows...

Yes and yes. (Altho I personally didn't even mind his voice.)

He was always one of my fave "hair metal" guitarists. Think I'll have to go break out "Long Cold Winter" & "Heartbreak Station" now...

    I LOVE Cinderella!

Tom has a great collection of vintage gear and he allways has some nice Tele's and Esquire's. I used to see him at the Dallas guitar show every year in the late 80's and he was allways picking up Tele's.

Besides producing some country acts, he played on the country tribute to ZZ Top and I think he's living in Nashville.

I talked to him a while last year at Rock-fest. His wife is a pretty well known country song-writer and yes they live in Nashville. While he was trying to find a cure for his voice problems (he literally lost his voice for about 15 years) he got into some writing for country artists as well as some producing. It's really not much of a stretch for him, just listen to some of his playing (especially on Heartbreak Station).
He's a genuinely nice guy, and asked me more questions about my life than I could squeeze in questions about him.

He worked with Andy Griggs - Even co-wrote a tune or two with him and Tom's wife Savannah Snow who is also a songwriter.

I've always liked Tom's gritty and country-blues style of writing. It's unfortunate that the years of his intense upper register vocals finally took it's toll.

I always liked his musical sensibilities.
