    Seriously, reminds me of the kind of poppy song that Steve Miller could have written in his "Joker" period.

    At this point in my life, I'm trying to have the mind-set that it's all music.

    I know this was tongue in cheek, but I maintain that 98-99 was the last great period for pop. You had acts charting that were incredibly diverse: Hanson, Lenny Kravitz, Ricky Martin, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Sugar Ray, Eminem, Lauryn Hill... Madonna was still charting....
