The nav in this thread was obviously made by Lucas in the 70's. I'm totally along for the ride regardless.

I believe those were Leo's inspiration for the original telecaster jack cups.

Lucas made automotive electronics. They were notoriously bad.

Okay, well, I'm aiming for 17-18k today. I went with the little round band-aids!

I made it:18k in 2hr 6min, over extremely hilly terrain.

The good news is the band-aids worked flawlessly!

The bad news is my goal is 21k in 2:00:00, and the bottoms of my feet feel like they were pounded with a meat mallet...

It's all part of the journey, trev!

How many miles do you have on those shoes?

Less than 100. They're doing all right; the problem is the 18,000 steps in 2 hours...

You should roll, your feet over a racquet ball or golf ball to massage them. Basically stand on it and slide your foot around. Hurts at the time but it hurts so good. It helps to free up the sliding surfaces.

Yep, I have a lacrosse ball and a tennis ball I use for this, and it definitely helps.

Yes. Lacrosse is what I meant to say. Use it to work those legs over too. Get a hard chair and sit on it and work it up and down the hamstring. When you find a spot, extend and flex your leg, curse words are welcome too.

Yeah, I'm big into trigger point therapy. I had a really bad knot in my right calf at the end of summer; thought it might be posterior compartment syndrome, but about 4 days of nailing it with the lacrosse ball sorted me out.

Have you looked up Kelly Starret and his book "Becoming the Supple Leopard?"

He's the man, tons of mobility, mashing, and trigger point work. It's worth a look through, or just go to the youtubes and type in "mobility wod"
