If I had a nickel for every time I’ve said those words...
Roger that...It's bad enough without having to fish through F-holes! At least you remembered the ground wire. Very solid planning on your part, I'd say.
Sounds like a hefty supplement to Jup's GoFundMe if we both chip in
Mount your pickups and run the wires out the F-hole. String 'er up. Mount your pots, switch, and jack all to a test board. Do ALL your testing, treble bleed comparisons, everything, with them out of the body. Only when you know they are the way you want them should you fish them in. See my earlier post when we were talking about this a couple pages back.
What day is it in Japan? Surely it's Friday or Saturday by now, right?
Hmm, hmm, hmm, tap, tap, tap
Oh man, that's a good idea; I was wondering how I'd check the sound...
Pretty hard to get more than a day ahead of you guys, even if we REALLY run.
So it’s saturday in Japan now, even if it is 2 am there.
Where’s the guitar!!???!!
I know exactly where it is...
No call yet
It's just 1pm here...
...aaaaand now I'm checking my e-mail every 5 minutes...
Come on jup please he
Ok me you got it an hour ago but
have been staring at it in amazement
Well, I’m still just waiting, but the postal service has been busy.
But what’s this?
I’m sure stewmac is busy around the holidays, but would you not notice that? Guess I’ll be sending this pic...
Yeah, on their QC checklist, they forgot... the checklist. Hopefully they’ll just ship you 1 new knob and not ask for the defective one back.
You can put a mysterious custom label of your choice on it. Like “Haunting Mids”. Or “Sparkle”.
I would not be worried, StewMac customer service has always been impeccable. Sucks nonetheless.
Yep, I trust em. It won't hold anything up at this point anyway.
That's where the little picture of the Zen master goes. Definitely neck pickup volume. There's nothing zen about what the bridge pickup is going to do.
Alla these knobs are pretty much for show, the way I play.
