I’ve got the tweed. Versatile, sounds great and reliable. Hip hip...
Just got the black I think original version & wondered why it took me so long to get one. Must admit love the looks of the tweed one though!!
I feel I've almost come full circle.....I had a tweed Deluxe in the mid-sixties. (don't know which model, but it was a three input) and just didn't know what I had. I know the Blues Junior is very different, but it's probably the closest thing I'll ever be able to afford. Like Danny Glover said in Silverado, "This oughta do!".....
I've got the Two-Tone. B Jr. head mounted in a cab with a 10" and 12" speaker. Sounds pretty great.
Got the original green board and will keep it.
I plug an electric guitar into it and it always sounds like a real electric guitar. Seems to me that it is the lowest cost tube amp that does that.
I like mine alot. Great amp for my beginner needs.
I shall be ordering a tweed blues junior Ltd today. Spent a while thinking about this and finally convinced myself it's the way to go.
I stuck mine in a much bigger & new solid pine
cabinet with a Weber 12F150.......
I have sold a lot of amps over the years, but still have an original green board as well...actually my first amp. The are compact, sound good, powerful enough for most uses, and so far has been very reliable. Hard to ask much more from an amp.
I bought my first one a yera or so after they came out. Another one 2 years later. Both Green Boards A 'B' and a 'C'. I've modded them over the years to fine tune them to sound the way I wanted. Great amp around the house.
Well my tweed limited edition blues junior arrived today. Only had a quick play but I know it works and sounds sweet.
I love mine
Still have my tattered NOS Tweed version despite BillM's review of the speaker. T'was also my first tube amp.
I bought my used black Blues Junior in 2003. I’ll never sell it. My kids can fight over it when I’m gone.
Sounds better now.....
Wow! What’s that? A beauty!!
Is THIS why they evacuated Sunspot NM?
