I help run a little Bluegrass Festival. Last year Special Consensus played. What nice guys and great musicians.

I am proud to say that they are up for a Grammy today - Best Bluegrass Album

It’s fun to be sort of a hanger-on

    :)

They're poorly disguised political rallies now. I stopped watching years ago - there's really no surprise at anything that takes place or who gets invited on stage. Sad that it's no longer about music.

she is the real deal... just amazing and everyone's story... you love so many songs, then you write your own...

the 21st century song was from the TRIO records.. it is an old neil young song.. but one that dolly, LR, and Em always wanted to sing...

A friend of mine works with the Musicares organization and runs the sober room backstage at the Grammies. There was a special concert honoring Dolly Parton the other night where different singers sang her songs. He had some good pics on his Facebook page.

Dave Glasser has a few on his console at his mastering lab in Boulder. He lets everyone who's there getting their recording mastered pick them up and make acceptance speeches. Those little statues are not light weight.

It was more of a prop the way she used it, but another young lady actually played hers a little more sort of...
