    And what a great Rockpalast night that was. The Who, followed by the Grateful Dead (who played for over 3 hours).

    I remember recording this one on tape, and I cherished that tape for many years :) .

    I was just listening to "Live at Leeds" this morning. A favorite band of mine back in the day. I saw them in '81 on their "farewell" tour, and again in 1989.

    I have always liked Pete Townsend playing and writing, the only thing i dont like about him is in interviews when he says he isnt a great guitarist!

    Same on this end. I saw them in '81 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando and at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami in '89.

    I must have played "The Quiet One" from that Rockpalast concert a million times.
