Very inventive and great tone too. It seems to me in general that when you stray from minor when your're supposed to be playing minor it's more glaring than when using it over major. No big deal, you had some really nice and adventurous stuff happening.

Like I said in my post I thought I would regret posting this one. I will likely have some more time in the weekend to redo this track. Thanks for your comment.

yeah, Mike, seriously - there's nothing to regret there. If anything, kudos for being a little more adventurous and looking for chromatic opportunities. Tone was fabulous, love the notes on the low end particularly.

Your playing sounds like Mike Cooley to me, and he's famous. Well done.

Time to look into the Concrete Mirror

Partscaster tele. Lead straight into the BR600, 80's style preset with chorus and delay. Rhythm via the Vox Lil' Night Train amp.

Any comments +/- are most welcome.

    Enjoy.

    Here´s mine at last!

Man, this was a fight! That´s not the fault of the bt; haven´t played guitar during the week and hurt my left index finger today. Another problem was: which guitar should I use? Tried out nearly every sound, even tuned the Strat. In the end I used my 2012 Standard Tele. And, I believe for the first time (with the exception of the wah), some ME80-Effects. Hope you enjoy.

Mark, I see you also played the refrain as a repetition with slight variations. Well thought out. Lovely playing in between.

Mike, beautiful change between upper and lower registers in the beginning as well as between slower and faster passages. Nice Tele tone. Good work, man!

Paul, your track made me move; sounds like a hit. Thumps up!

Phil, that was great. In my opinion the best track you made up until now when looking on your ability to play the electric guitar. You don´t need any covers from me anymore!

Raimonds, sweet from the start to the end; beautiful tone, gilmorish feeling with hooking lines!

Ullrich: splendid, great multiple guitar playing, it reminded me of Hellecasters! At some moment I thought you invited those guys to play on the track :)

    • Mark - Great track mate. I like how the verses started out restrained but then built up for the bridge and chorus. Playing the same theme over the choruses gave your track a more of a song like structure. Nice.
    • Mike - It always amazes me how you get such a nice clear tone on your lower notes. Nice work in the choruses. :D
    • Paul - Your track reminds me of The Church for some reason, maybe it's the reverb. Well done. :D
    • Raimonds - Very nice. And no rehearsal you say? Impressive!
    • Ullrich - Wow there's a lot of guitar going on there. I imagined it as a group of friends standing around in a circle taking turns. I think I liked the 4th verse the best. :D

I futzed around with the intro and for about the first minute, and then thought, hey, just shut up and play, but not to play too much. Was up late at party last night; got to circle back and listen to a few tracks here.
