The intro was a classic James Bond type of sound ...you had some nice things going on as the song played .

At times it sounds like your playing out of one of the Roland guitar synths from back in the day ,
I had one ... Also your tone fits the style and the genre of this music .

Love what you did there with your tone at around 48 seconds w the echo ...also dug your playing in the 2:48 mark onward of the tune ..it was lyrical ..

Very Nice , I like how you played understated at first while keeping it lyrical and expressive .
Your playing had a story telling vibe throughout the song , when you started using dirt and bending
more notes as the song played I thought it all fit together rather nicely

I have a niggle with my shoulder so am resting, hope to join in by the end of the week.

I will give everyone a listen soon!

Btw, I don't think this is supposed to be a particular Satch tune, just a pastiche kind of thing. It's nothing fancy on his first five albums, anyway :D

I like it! Very melodic and the two guitar sounds were refreshing.

Solid, melodic rock playing. I like how you built up your track regarding the tempo of your playing: gettig faster towards the end.

That wasn't so much a plan as it was old fingers warming up.

I didn't have any pedals accessible. The buzzy tone is a mic'd Mustang Mini. I need a usb hub so I can use Fender Fuse too.

I'm not sure what you mean about baritone riff ...around 2:10 ish there is a heavy phased guitar part .

If that is what you mean I had laid out while playing my solo and did a punch in just for that little part.

If what you mean is right after that part where I'm playing long sustained flowing notes in the bass register ,

I'm using the same lead sound I used VIA my treble pick up .

The main difference is I'm playing low on the neck with a much lighter touch on the guitars fretboard ...

FWIW, If a law enforcement official ever saw me play my Telecaster I would promptly be arrested on sight for neck strangulation and guitar abuse ...

Sometimes I got to really dig in to get the tones I'm getting

Thank you for the kind words and multiple song listens .

    all the best,

    Kenny

Hi Ullrich , I'm happy you enjoyed my guitar playing over this tune

Hello JCL50 , thank you for the kind words .

    Hi Mike ,
On this track my goal was to play my guitar only to serve the song .
I'm real glad you enjoyed my tone and how I played .

    all the best,

    Kenny

Yes, that was it, the "punch in." Nice; thorough explanation, very helpful:)

Oh good G-52 , I'm glad we got that one sorted out .

I happened to really like what was happening right there in that section of the backing track.

In the end , my primary purpose is to always to play in a way that serves the song while maintaining my own identity as a player .

IMHO , I thought that section of the song deserved a little extra special Love ...

    all the best,

    Kenny

Not altogether pleased with this, but cannot play any more so this is it  At least with this take I was making funny faces and exaggerated guitar hero gestures at my girlfriend :D

Listened to the backtrack a few times to get a melodic idea in my head then grabbed my single cut guitar and cranked the saturation... and slopped away. No whammy bar so just detuned the E string with the tuner at one point. :)

I listened to everyone else after I played. I believe we had a very similar melodic approach.
