Lovely track, a while ago I did this with bass'n'drums backing:
@Alan L Cole raw power, so 60s and 70s! You could play with Hendrix!
@udoering Nice, I wouldnt call your track melancholic, it rather has some uplifting feel!
@NWinther I like it, you sound like something between Keith and Gilmour!
@Mjark I think I have never heard you playing slide, you do this very well! Later part without slide was very melodic!
Both tracks are cool Raimonds. Great guitar tone on both versions. Some very nice runs and technique on the new TD100 track and I really like the tone as well.
@Alan L Cole Really nice 2nd version Alan!Your blues playing is right in the pocket and your tone has some hair on it that I liked .Nicely played!
@Raimonds They both done nicely . I love your fast runs on the second version and it got sweeter as it progressed!
Ah, sweet redemption . Some sleep and Twanger inspiration goes a long way. Thank you kindly Mike!
It does indeed
Thanks for your kind comment earlier Alan!
@Raimonds : as Mike already has stated, two good versions, and I also like the second one more; but I can´t say exactly why. There is something more in it than the fast runs.
What?!? I don´t have the slightest idea what you mean. Whatever, a good second track, bluesy, and again that power in it.
Had a bit of fun with this one - tried to combine multiple styles and sounds playing simultaneously without just making a complete racket. It might be a complete racket though.
Thank you Ullrich. I never take myself seriously - just having a little fun and acknowledging your and the rest of the Twanger's great tracks. I wanted to present something along those lines after hearing everyone's takes.
@estreet: Wow, awesome production! Beautiful and creative arrangement. Loved those guitar parts. Very cool how you played the the melody. The acoustic is recorded beautifully. The panning and power of the electric is great. The ascending "007" like lines are very cool. Just an awesome track Carl!
Cleaner version this time, no shredding ,honest!
Don´t you consider yourself a "Twanger"?
@estreet : Alan nailed it; nothing more to add. A very, very good track!
Straightforward, yet not simple in melting all that different guitars together!
@estreet Never follow a better act, they say..Oh boy! My bad!
Your mixing was so well done! Wow, so much to say about this! The acoustic parts and electric guitar parts blended in perfectly to one and other, beautiful mashup of themes and not to mention your playing was inspiring.Well done!
Keef and Ronnie I ain't, but I gave it a shot.
Phil, good to hear you! You separeted the two guitars not only by panning, but also by sound; well done! Seemed you settled in after the first minute, from then on we hear a nice interplay of the two guitars. Let it rock!
HoodieMcFoodie Nicely played and sweet theme !Love the two guitar tracks Phil!
Well, now that you mentioned it, hell yeah!
