Any 5 guys/gals who put them together in Fullerton during the early 50’s or any other 5 who’ve worked in Corona/Ensenada.

(None of the players mentioned needed a Telecaster, it was just the guitar they used...)

I say let's one up the original Mount Rushmore and add Marty for a fifth spot.

I can't really disagree with any of those, but Graham Coxon better get a prominent place on my tele Mount Rushmore.

Now that I think about it here's my special Mount Rushmore for tele players who eschew traditional tele uses: John 5, Jonny Greenwood, Graham Coxon, Andy Summers

I really wanted to put Waylon Jennings on my list instead of Don Rich, but Don needs to be introduced into the consciousness of a lot of new players, so I included him instead.

(don't tell anybody, but I like Waylon better!)

I get the idea to include modern players, but we don’t tear down Mount Rushmore every time we elect a new president.

Definitely NOT Page. Yes, we all know he used a tele on LZ1, but come on!

I can't really narrow it down... I want to say Keef and the Boss, but the more names I think of the more it just seems like a monument to musicians and not a guitar. Like having a Wyatt Earp monument to honor the Colt revolver.

Okay but yes Springsteen for sure.

Good question. Of course we know that Mt. Rushmore busts were selected by the skulpter and not the by the person with the original concept and it was just to be a tourist attraction by design to make money for the State, so some mentioned above would fit that bill, but we should get down to authentic, "love of the telecaster" players.

    I'll put up my four:

    Muddy waters
    Albert Collins
    Keith Richards
    Steve Cropper

For me, it would have to be something like,

Keith Richards, Elvis Costello, Andy Summers, Ya'll can pick the last one as long as it ain't Bruce. Don't like him.
