but if you live south of me you already know that...
woke up to snow also
A foot is coming our way
We've had enough snow up here, getting more tonight, weather we want it or not.
my friend said 8' in the last week at our cabin! There was even snow on the hills around my house (sea level) this weekend... big storm to arrive late tuesday night... stay warm Buck! some potato soup sounds good (lots of bacon)
I got about a foot over the weekend and supposed to get another 10-12 inches tonight. And it’s not melting, just piling up. Too cold to melt. I’m slightly northeast of Spokane, Washington.
Great year for people that like to snowmobile, snowshoe and ski.
The rest of us are battling depression.
We got an inch or two this morning, wet heavy slop. It is supposed to rain the rest of the week. 35F and raining is much worse than 15F and snowing.
Yuki thinks the snow plows bring the snow, he perked up when these guys drove by today.
Snow here too, and more on the way.
Your dog, is that your plow too?
There's about eight or nine inches covering my front lawn right now, and it's still coming down. I just hope that my crawlspace sump will be able to keep up when everything starts melting and the ground becomes saturated.
That's a cute little plow truck.
Half an inch here this morning. 5-8 forecast for tonight, changing to ice in the AM.
It's all well and good, right up till the time that the power goes off. But the bathtub is full of water for flushing, and we have gas for the generator. See ya on the flip side.
No, that's the town, not sure what they were doing, we are supposed to get like 2 inches tonight.
4-8" coming tomorrow up here they say. Hope they're wrong.
I’m sure the planet takes the heat from you guys and dumps it over here. We’re heading for 36C today and 39C tomorrow.
Just spent 9 hours on foot delivering mail in that Iowa snow. Thankfully, it wasn't deathly cold nor windy this time so I was actually enjoying it. Even got into a snowball fight with a neighborhood dog...he was loving the snow as well.
Now, after driving 90 minutes home on slick roads with ditches full of cars and needing to shovel my driveway, the fun-factor is gone.
We got a couple of inches total during the last three nights. Entirely melted off by early afternoon.
3 inches' worth yesterday of really wet stuff that melted about as quickly as it hit the ground. We still haven't been able to have a decent snowball fight this year.
53" so far this season (about half of last year's total), with about 12" forecasted this week. Bring it on!
