    We couldn't afford lead based paints. We had to write "Lead based paint" on a piece of paper and pretend it was lead-based paint.

    My family couldn't afford paper - or even a pen to write 'lead based paint' on the paper we didn't have

    I also have a piece of glass in my thumb and have mistyped almost everything today, but I'm not apologising for that. Just tucking into my lead paint supper :eek::eek::eek:

    Lets See:

    lets do the math so far;

    (A+(B+C/D)=E+F-G) =<225

    (Good Grammar + (talent + telecaster/ tdpri wisdom) = better guitar player + well informed - nationality language guide lines) = at least 225 posts on a monday!

    I have read that Oz English is derived from the East End of London, the original home of many of the convicts that were deported to Oz. It makes sense if you compare the two.

    Or were you being ironic? It's hard to tell sometimes.

    Apparently so, even in your text... get over it. I like to think that this forum is for everyone. There's no need to put people down

    And occasionally ration, reason and logic are also lost on some threads - but overall a very cool forum and community!

    Worse than a lack of grammar and spelling skills I abhor the faulty sense of humor sometimes. I used that same joke a few weeks back and got a straight faced response of "I'm afraid plumbing involves a fair bit more than that"...

    :confused::rolleyes:o_O:oops:o_O:confused::eek::rolleyes:

    I let it slide the first couple times but I've been told three times now that I'm "thick". Dude...it's true. Thanks for noticing.

    5) Does the sales of Guiness' really go up on St.Paddy's Day ? Y N
