Bill Murray plays? Cool!
In what dystopian hellscape would Bill Murray be "That Guy?"
I'm guessing like Jimmy Buffet or one of those old hippie guys from the Dead or something
of course, I could be totally wrong
One of the Crossroads festivals . . . Bill Murray was the MC.
somehow i never envisioned Murray to have the discipline to learn how to play guitar
But I'll say this for him, he's funny!
Lots of comedians are no longer funny as they age, not Eddie Murphy, not Chevy Chase, not Adam Sandler, somehow their comedy depended on a youthful physicality component that they've since lost....
Bill Murray though, still funny AF
Bill is always welcome at any party of mine...
The only time I give another guitar player that look is when their ego is way over inflated as compared to their ability.
If someone can only play three or four chords, but he or she has a blast doing it, and welcomes others to join in... and sing along... if there’s no “watch what I can do” attitude... then we’ll be great friends.
I bet Bill can play better than eric can tell a joke
I think that caption should read 'so, you're saying my girlfriend left me for lance armstrong? why would anyone steal anyone's girlfriend or wife? Where's Vince, hey Vinny...'
Chevy Chase still does movies?
He did some tv show for a bit relatively recently though, and he was unfunny way before that. I think I first noticed it back when he had his own late night talk show. So like, what, 25 years back?
I thought he was funny in those family trip flicks, like the one where he'd fall asleep behind the wheel.
You sure your not thinking of Chevy Chase?
I didn’t know that Bill ever had a talk show. Chevy’s late night talk show was really bad.
Edit: silly me... I didn’t read the thread properly before posting.
Speaking of.. what ever happened to Pattie Boyd?
Yep, Chevy used to be funny.
that was years and years back, though
or uh... that rodeo sweetheart...
BM is always the coolest guy at the party.
Last gig we had a spontaneous funky jam at the end of one set, and a drunk, hyperactive guy came over, took the mic and let it really go nebulously, screeming and everything. We even tolerated him for a few minutes, it's rock'n'roll. But he was jumpin around too close to my pedalboard, and it was one of those scary but funny moments.
