Help from a friend
Today i received some inspiration to finish my project.
Wow. What a great book.
You either have a much nicer phone camera than I, or must be using a real camera...the pics are great!
Enjoy the build!
Hey, thanks a lot.
It's just a iPhone6 in a rather dark workshop. No post processing.

Glued the fretboard to the neck today.
nice clean work.
@koolaide: Thanks a lot.
I let it dry over night and took of the clamps this morning. Neck looks good.
Alright! I forgot about this build. Glad to see you are still working on this!
Nice job on your build so far! I have a soft spot for the ole blackguard tele and can't wait to see this one making music!
Nice build. I started off thinking something along the lines of the early teles like you're going for but it morphed. Looking forward to seeing this.
Flush trimmed and sanded the fretboard finally.
@richa: Thank you very much.
Added some black fret makers today.
I watched Mr. Fletcher's 'how to' video over and over again so now its time to finish the neck.
Really great job. I don't think you could find a better place to get info lots of knowledgeable people on this site
Some more neck work. One facet took me about 1 hours. I think i'll need a more efficent rasp.
Looks almost like a neck now.
I use a Micro Plane they go through wood like butter.
Something like this? http://us.microplane.com/32015snapincoarsefineflatset.aspx
Exactly that. I actually ordered the flat and the round ones but have never used the round ones. They work really well and go through hard maple easily. Another alternative is a farrier's rasp which is also a popular item on this great forum.
Getting closer ...
Nice looking work.
