The "meat and potatoes" of guitar. Simple, elegant, versatile. What more does one need? Every electric guitarist should own one.
Oh crap. I guess I've gotta sell 2 of mine.
Nah keep em. As long as yo have at least one Tele. The more the better...
Tele’s, the VW of guitars
Nothing like them!
I'm pretty sure the solo from Black Dog was recorded with a Telecaster. That might make a good thread: "Which Led Zepplein songs were played on a Telecaster."
I thought that teles were a bit shrill (ice picky) until I got my hands on one. I like most guitars in general but I always had a fondness for telecasters. Love the twang but they do so much more than just that.
But then what if your headstock snaps off?
Yes they are, even cooler than a Strat! (sorry guy's)
Everyone I know who had a VW ten years ago, now drives something else. You may as well call the Telecaster, the Sears Roebuck of guitars. Baby, you picked the wrong horse! :^)
Is that why I own 4? I think I want a Telecoustic now!
In my part of the woods they´re HOT!
Isn´t that the coolest thing?
I wondered if the solo on Black dog might have been. That sounds like a great idea for a thread!
OK, so I started one in the Music to Your Ears section.
I just happened to be online when you created it. Looking forward to hearing what the results are.
They are great. The industry workhorse.
shhh! it's a state secret.
Cooler than this?
