Already posted in some other topics/threads but i figured what the heck!
And now for something completely different.
I like it! sort of a "Danocaster". What kind of sound do you get out of those lipstic pups? I've been wanting to try some for a while now and just needed some more info.
This one from the Creston site, made from 22 gauge rusty steel.
I"m thinking a piece of shingle woulda worked well here, too.
not the best pic , its a leather pic
this one has a clear pickguard that covers the entire body and I do the graphics underneath in photoshop, then print them out on large paper, trim them, and slip them underneath the pickguard. I can change the graphic anytime i want, to be anything I want.
I call it the Surf-Caster. It's not quite done yet. I've been swamped with a couple other projects. But I've used the lipsticks in other projects and love the sound. Output is a bit lower than I'm accustomed to, but there are clear, and nice and jangly. I just have to solder a few connections in the back... some day soon.
I'm loving the Dano-caster!
I am in lurrve with this, it's stunnin'
Very cool shape! Looks like she's naked or something...
OK I'll jump in. . I got some Stew Mac PG's and had a Mexican finger painter do this sunset picture. It has about 8 coats of lacquer. It's mounted on my 62RI for this photo, which really doesn't go well. This is how the sunsets are here most every evening.
Nice....! What kind of wood is that? Looks almost like particle board material but surely not.
It's OSB, says so right above the picture!
Sorry, I guess I'm dense. Not sure what OSB means?
Is that a Dan Armstrong bridge?
