T or F: If Squier put out a CVC Tele in CAR or Surf Green, they'd fly off the shelf...

Would you rush out and buy a Squier CVC in CAR or surf green?

I keep hoping Squier will put out a CVC Tele in CAR or surf green. I'd buy both!

What colors would make you pull out your wallet, CVC-wise?

    Squier haters need not reply.

There are lots of Teles in CAR. Now surf green is a different story, so 1/2 yeah!

I have a surf green Bullet and love it, but I'd prefer seafoam green.

I said yes, but I'd prefer the surf green or lake placid blue. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't HAVE to be a CV. It might be a modern telecaster (6 block saddles, modern bridge, hotter pickups...) but the same quality as the CV.

It seems to me Squiers are already far too successful.
I doubt Fender would want much more competition for the MIM line.

No doubt those two colors would be popular.

I also have the Surf Green Squier Bullet. I think it may be the best $150 I have spent on a guitar... lol

A special run of surf green with double binding and rosewood board would be awesome.

I've been watching the Fender Tele HH in seafoam green for a while, hoping to find a deal.

I should have bought the Squier Bullet Tele in Orange with black hardware I saw on sale in a shop maybe 12 months ago. It wasn't expensive, have never seen another & I've regretted not doing so ever since. I believe they did an all black one too.

I bought an orange Affinity Strat at my local Fender dealer when I was picking up the Sonic Blue Classic Player 60s Strat I had them order for me just because it was orange and it had really beautiful Brazilian looking rosewood on the fingerboard. I'm still trying to figure out what pickups to put in it. I tried some Area 58s, which I liked at first, but I'm starting to not dig them as much. I think I'll try a set of Mexican Classic series I got on Ebay, or maybe a set of Lawrence L250s I've had for a long time.

I do like Surf Green. In fact I'd love it if they put them out in all the old Fender pastels.

Unless it's a really dark red, I've always thought lighter red guitars look cheap; like they're made of plastic. Same goes for red cars. So the CAR gets a big "meh" from me.

CAR, Surf Green, Seafoam Green, Daphne Blue, Sonic Blue, Black... pretty much anything. I would pull the neck at some point, but I would still prefer it to not have a matching headstock.

They have already done a number of special run colors, even with matching headstocks, They sold OK, but they didn't fly off the shelves.

I hate to say it, but catering to Custom Color people is a better match for pricey American models - people who will spend $ 2,000 per unit. These CVs are (as Xafinity says) already good enough as they are.

People who refuse to buy 'em because Americans haven't paid their bills, I get that. People who are holding out from buying one because they don't like the colors available, IMO don't understand where the goodness and utility of this specific model of instrument is. This is a very presentable, very reasonably priced TOOL. It is not a conversation piece. These should only be bought to play the spit out of them.

This reminds me of the woman you may heard about who owns 6 Fiat Cinquecentos in 6 different colors and she barely drives. What is the point?

Shell Pink. But they won't do that, because they want that one to be the 5000 dollar one in the glass case...
