And here it is now.
110 bucks plus about 15 for shipping at Rondo.
Expect to have to probably do a fret leveling/re-crowning to make it into a real player going in. I have a double bound Furrian taped up waiting for me to get to it. Tele Twang in spades, search ended, on the particular individual unit shipped to me. My experience with 3 different SX models is that the woods are good.
Seafoam I say , SEAFOAM !
I totally love this!
It's a great, great color. I'd love a Tele in sea foam green.
I'm constantly adjusting monitor settings. Since I posted that (2.5 years ago!!!), I've been through a few monitors.
Click on any of the pics to see more of that guitar.
The guitar in my first post (seafoam green):
Same batch of paint, same camera, different day, different lighting (I try to always use natural light):
And for comparison, a Daphne Blue with the same camera (again, different day):
surf green strat outside
I know this is old but damn....that green flying V is HOT!!!
and while I'm here....surf green for the win.
So this is why I can't finds a surf green Tele anywhere! You guys are hoarding them!
A guy in my town put this '67 surf green tele (was belong to Michael Landau) on sale. Purty!
Here's my Strat
I like the lighter pastel shade. The minute you take it out of the case it's instant Summer.
Any time any where..... instant Summer. It's magic actually. Somic blue sort of does it too.
That there's one of them good problems to have.
Sea Foam, Dude!
The color of the sea foam in your first post looked like a near perfect match to the green on my new '63 reissue.
