Really ironic that this was such a defensive game.

KC played the Rams, and it was a Bombs Away Feast! The game of the year 54-51, but this is what we get,,,,MEH,

I played a pre-bowl party at a brewery in Timnath, CO. I was backing a friend who was doing the singer-strummer thing. I played mandolin. I had to take three buses to get there so the mando was easy to carry. We did a bunch of songs that mentioned LA and Boston. We got fed and tips and my friend paid for my Uber ride home. I didn't stick around for much of the game. I was real tired.

The upside for me is that I won some decent cash with our work pool. Not sure how much yet, but they all get donuts on Tuesday my treat.

That's a cool job. Did you get to watch some of game or were you stuck in a truck the whole time?

I took my son back to school during the game. Roads were somewhat clear, and the drunks were not out yet. It ended up being a good plan.

That was a basketball game. One team gets the ball and runs down the field and scores. Then the other team gets the ball and does the same thing. No defense. Whoever has the ball last wins.

I like a game in the trenches. O-Line vs D-Line. Every yard is a battle. Running backs getting slammed hard. Touchdowns batted away at the last second. Quarterbacks getting rolled by relentless linebackers and defensive ends. It keeps a game tense and uncertain. Every play becomes more and more important as time runs out.

    THIS was an exciting play.

    So was this.

How can you not appreciate the effort of Jason McCourty on this?

I hear ya @kelnet, but those bomb fest type games have the crowd going wild too! I'm sure you watched the KC vs Pat's game 2 weeks ago, it was a high scoring nail biter the last few min's of the game.
And once again I just noticed,,, feast vs fest,, I am so losing it:confused:

My SuperBowl 2019 highlight (our band had to play from 10:30 to 3:15am Sunday).

Saw a Lamborghini Urus and a Rolls-Royce Cullinan in line to cruise the Compound while standing outside the Northside Tavern on break. Same colors but the Rolls had blacked out chrome.

You and me both Kelnet! Everything went as planned, we picked up pizza and chocolate pie. Celebrated my daughter's birthday, then got down to business watching a very intense game. Those who missed it, missed it, but there was a lot going on in this game. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing. I've watched more football this year than I have in years. I don't care about the detractors, and distractions, the football is what I like, and they are playing better football right now than at any time in my lifetime. Go Pats!!!

Luckily I'm in a studio in LA so I don't have to be stuck in trucks or stadium catacombs anymore
