I’m not a football fan anyway so I never care, but I still can’t resist watching the whole spectacle.

I’ll probably head to the bar for the first hour of programming...the lead up and crap...then go home for the actual game and not watch it, just the halftime show.

I’ll read about the ridiculous parts later on Deadspin.

Have never been much of a football fan. So some friends and I will prob spend the evening jamming on some classic country, bbq and beer or two..or three or four...or

Just as with the preceding 36 Superbowls, this will be a solitary, late night pleasure.
This one feels a bit weird. The Saints should be playing.

My wife and I will watch the game unless it turns into a blowout, then we'll change the channel. I'm buying a new Agile Al2500 and a surf green Strat body on the way home from work tonight so I may end up at the workbench if the game really sucks.

It's on free to air TV @9AM here, so I'll be having a morning cup of tea and getting settled in... just before the test cricket game starts in Canberra,,

if I want to start earlier the Volcom Pro surf comp is on in Hawaii... that's @4AM start..

could be a big screen watching day .. ;)

    who's playing again?...o_O

No NFL for three glorious years now. It freed up a lot of time. Now I need to stop spending that new found time on here...:(

It is an "Event" with all the parties , commercials , 1/2 time show etc .
Go with it laugh , cry , and have fun .
I am throwing a Super Bowl party for guest list of none - myself :)

Well American Football is not my game, but I usually set out with the intention to watch it through. Other than the games brought over to Wembley, it's the only guaranteed game I can see live without paying for the privilege.

It kicks off at 11.30 pm our time, so I know I'm in for a late night. And that's where my problem starts. I can get through the first half easily. but the interminable half time break has been known to drive me to bed and miss the second half.

Put the damn show on before the game, then just get on with the game!

My plans are to avoid all things Superbowl Sunday.
I have decades of experience, so I should have no problem.
Wish me luck, I’m striving for perfect disinterest!

I won't be watching. I have better things to do. Take a nap, shoot spit wads at the ceiling fan, paint the cats toenails. Lots of stuff.

I will watch it. Although my Bears would have made it a more interesting game imho. Seeing how my 88 year old Mom is a Patriots fan. Chinese food yum yum will be served. Everyone enjoy the game.

I like to watch games with a guitar on my lap. Multi-tasking! :D

(the endless commercial breaks would drive me crazy, otherwise…..)

My daughter's birthday was last week, she was out of town on business, so we didn't get to celebrate her birthday. The family always meets over at young son's house on SB Sunday, and we'll have a little birthday celebration for the daughter before the game. She and her husband love football, so it'll be cool. My son and I have been texting back and forth about almost all of the games we get out here all year long, so we're ready to see Tom Brady get that sixth ring! You Brady haters gotta hate, and that's okay we know you can't help it!:lol::lol:

We won't be watching any part of it. I haven't seen the nfl for years and don't plan to start today. I guess I will play guitar and, my wife will watch tv or something.

It's supposed to be 50 degrees here today.
after days of 45 below zero with the wind chill.
    I'll be outside.

To be honest pro sports has a net zero on my life, I couldn't care less.

I’m going to a fish fry ! Catfish, Crappie, Walleye, and Perch. My cousins invited me and promised that there won’t be a television out in the shed where we are frying up the fish and hush puppies :)
