Stupid new device

    What they don't tell you is this 'guitar balancer' won't allow you to put it jn a case and frankly sad anyone would not realize this prior to purchase 01_BCNB_on_Body_1_-_Silver_1000x1500.jpg

    Maybe not in that crappy old case you've got now! Their new and improved case (which goes for $499.99 + tax) can more than amply accommodate such a device!

    I've a brand new SKB don't know what yer talking about other than it is a top notch case this abomination won't fit in.

    The point is, yes, it won't fit in a standard case; but they'll probably be happy to sell you a case that it would fit in.

    So, not necessarily stupid; just sort of...I don't know...sneaky, gimmicky, contrived?

    Guitar balancer, eh? I dunno...seems most of my guitars are just fine where the strap buttons are as-is. I wouldn't want that thing sticking out of my guitars but that's just me. And probably a lot of other people. :lol:

    You can improve the balance by moving the button 1"-1.5" closer to the neck, I've done it but you have to drill. Or if you really want, use one of the neck screws to attach the strap button and have it like an SG.

    Does that device not fit in rectangle cases?

    Yet another solution looking for a problem.

    Much guitar "tuners". What is this "tuning" thing anyway? I just tighten the strings till all those pegs point the same way.

    A good leather strap is all you need to keep a guitar from sliding around.

    It’s not so crazy, imo. I wouldn’t buy it, but it’s a decent way to solve the problem of neck dive, and it’s easy for anyone to fit. No drilling, and so on. Looks way too long though. If it took a Tele to the length of a Strat’s top horn, it’d fit in a regular case.

    Are people people having issues with neck dive on teles? Does this happen on the lighter ones? The tele just seems so well balanced to me.

    I'm waiting for the Mk II version with the microphone clamp. Then you can move around with an SM58 stuck up your nose.

    What more could an aspiring stage performer need ...

    Let's see; it ain't going on my tele, too light for a door stop, too big to stir my coffee with, not aerodynamic enough to be a boomerang. As best as I can see, the only useful part is the strap button, which I'd remove and save for later just before tossing it in the trash.
