how 'bout this stunner..
A few of my builds.
Probably the best finish I've done so far. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I'm happy with how it came out. Still finding sparkles months later though.
There's some real lookers in here!

My first black finish:
This one's all natural. No color, just lacquer - the wood does the talking pretty well on its own:
The amazing thing was what it looked like right off the hand plane. This is just planed with a #4 Stanley - no finish of any kind and no "cheater" wipe of any liquid. Just stunning wood.
The more refinishes I do, it almost seems the luckier I get
With the exception of this one... it was better BEFORE I finished it

Stole the neck off m Lite Ash MIK Tele, MOP markers seemed better on this than on a Natural finish.
Just finished this one today...Ok, not quite finished, I still gotta make the truss rod cover...
A pair of Lollar P-90’s, a Special with cloth laminated front and back...finished with a spit coat of schellac...
Makes my home made Princeton growl, actually both of them, 5f2a and a 6g2 and both of them like this guitar...
