Yep , like drinking Mobil 1 with a hint of oranges
Yeh, one thing always ticks me off about doctors, the advances never keep up with the limitations. One of the last things I said to my doc (when I could afford him) was offer to bring in a medicine man to cast the bones for him (I'm part Cherokee). Not surprisingly, he didn't find the humor, only the insult (which was intended). Be praying for next time
I have some not quite so pleasant memories from when I had an upper GI radiography series done.
First the fizzy stuff that makes your stomach swell up and you keep burping and gagging and feeling like it's all going to come back up.
Then you have to drink all that barium until it fills up your innards so they can get a nice clear picture of where your stomach and stuff is located.
The worst part was two days later when I was stuck on the can with bright white gravel falling out of my rear.
I don't think there's anything I can add to that folks
I once got this paper cut...
At band camp?
I missed all the excitement, Herb. Glad things came out well...
No... it was at the Extreme Mountain Guide Camp for Lumber Jacks & Hockey Players.
It's a Canadian thing... lots of paper work.
Herb, Glad things are looking manageable. Now did I hear something about Seafoam Green, or was it now going to be Pepto-bisma, er Shell Pink?
Here's to hoping all your channels stay clear- AM, FM, & BM.
Thanks Scooby SEAFOAM could be a possibility , but PB pink ?? NOT !!! :-D
POLY ETHYLENE GLYCOL with electrolyte PEG lite. Sounds like a paint additive. Come to think of it, tastes like too.
Best advice I got is to mix the powder with lime gator aid. Similar tastes. Refrigerate it, cuz that diminishes the taste. Use a straw and draw it onto the back of your tongue where there are fewer taste buds. Then--here's the biggie--chase each sip with a sip of ginger ale. Only way I could keep the stuff down.
Ginger ale or rye whiskey.. With the whiskey at least you won't remember the trauma..
Rye put's the fight in some people... I wouldn't wanna be in a fightin' mood for that procedure.
Oh yeah, went there last winter. But up here we have to build igloos to live in for the duration of our camp stay. At least the snowmobiles are provided, and they also had a camp polar pet: a polar bear.
27" of snow , you gotta be kidding me , hey guys , wanna come over and help me dig out ?
