well, it was uncooperative humor and the discussion with the bomb did become reminiscent of Camus though Camus said he was not an, therefore, he wasn't.
Camus's belief was that political and religious authorities try to confuse us with over-complicated moral systems to make things appear more complex than they really are, potentially to serve their own needs.
I really do think that Bomb could agree with that.

You forgot the two that actually were better:

Dr Who (with the 4th Doctor)
    Blake's 7

Not movies to be sure but still...

    How did I miss this??

    Best to worst:

    1. The Empire Strikes Back (best of all of them, with the final cliffhanger, or antenna hanger as it might be)
    2. A New Hope (the beginning of the saga, and Han Solo steals the show)
    3. Rogue One (I liked this more than most, undermanned rebels, some without a moral compass, some with too developed a moral compass, and a great precursor to the whole series, and dark.)
    4. Revenge of the Sith (I hated the acting but the story line was pretty good)

    5. The Force Awakens (It was an OK movie, wished they had explored the bad guys backstory more and what transpired over the last 20 years better)

    6. Attack of the Clones (This film should be better, but I can't get over how underused Jango Fett was and they should have had more interaction with the clones like on the animated series)
    7. Return of the Jedi (I have to rank this low because of Ewoks, the throw away of Bobba Fett and Ewoks, and the death of Darth Vader, and Ewoks, and that stupid hologram imaging at the end, and Ewoks)

    8. The Phantom Menace (miticlorides, fatherless births, mirrored spaceships, swamp people, rat tails, and Jar Jar Binks...)

    #2 (can't remember what it's called, don't care)
    Phantom Menace

I was disappointed when I discovered that last movie in my list wasn't about a ghost named Dennis.

She was in three of them, and they completely ruined that character as the trilogy went on. In Phantom Menace, she was strong and capable. In the second one, she gets all lovesick and loses her independence, and completely overlooks the fact that Anakin is a violent mental case. In the third one, she's a whiny little weakling who dies of a freaking broken heart. That's just one of the reasons why Revenge of the Sith is the worst of the lot for me.

I know that it's cool to hate Jar Jar and the little kid, but Phantom Menace had much of the goofy fun of the original, plus a great light saber battle.
