Need a new speaker for my tweed bronco. I want to make sure it actually fits in the amp without modifications.

Also Ohms recommendations, I know nothing on what the change in Ohms effects, school me.

As far as ohms go. The simple answer is... only replace the speaker with one of the exact same ohms rating.

I'd do a Google search for Vibro Champ speaker swapping...they are the same amp.

I put a Weber 8A125-0 in my 1968 Vibro Champ. It fit. It sounded very good. A vintage Bronco is a rebranded Vibro Champ.

I forget what i put in mine, will check when i get home.

I know it's a Jensen, not sure if i used a MOD or PR8. I have had a couple of these and any speaker sounds better than the stock.

Definitely stick with the same ohms, i forget if it's 4 or 8 on these.

Anyway, i was just using mine yesterday with a Fender FDR 1 reverb pedal and that is a great way to use this amp.

I just opened mine up, it has the Jensen MOD 8ohm in it. Sounds great, very affordable.

That's a good one too, a little reverb really makes it come alive.

I use a 12" Jensen external and it has replaced the blues junior as my go to amp.

I'm following the thread to see what speaker would be a good replacement for the original as well.
