That looks like they hired AMC's design team, who were used to piecing together cars with whatever parts they were able to get their hands on.

    They’re all just guitars.

Life is too short to hate and hate takes too much energy.

Does it come in vintage NOS red paisley?

You can get a Korean PRS for about the same price as a Mexican Tele.

You being a man of the clergy I'm surprised you'd post a pic like that. Shut your eyes Ethel!

Exactly, so I don't know what Twangking is talking about when he says you can't get a good deal on a PRS.

The American-made models don't go near that price point, but the SEs are pretty darn good guitars on their own.

I take it you consider a Squier to be a Fender?

I did say Mexican, and those would be Fenders. But I'm not sure what point you're making.

A Squier is a Fender though.

Don't like a PRS headstock on a tele body because the curves don't harmonize.
Don't much like a PRS headstock on a strat, though it seems to jar less with that body shape.
I do like those Talmans people keep posting, though! :)

Sorry, I meant I'll never be able to afford a USA made PRS which to my hands feel much better than SEs. I like the SEs but I've never had one I've really wanted to buy.

Can you put a poll on this thread so I know what to think? Otherwise I wouldn't know whether to care or not and what to think. I assume if you vote that you don't care, you'd get a complimentary 'stay off my lawn' sign?

Can you afford an American-made Tele? Your earlier post said that you can get a good Tele without going expensive. What do you consider expensive? And what do you consider a good Tele?

I hope that is a photoshop composite image?

If it's for real, I'm NOT ok with it because it shows no class at all.

I feel this way because I have a lot of respect for PRS guitars. To be honest, I expected more from a company of their standing. Any other company that would do that, I wouldn't bat an eyelid. The Silver Sky supposedly had over two years of development? The chinese could make knock-offs of that in a heartbeat without having the need to re-tool... that's how low the bar was set on that one.

    Is it legal? Probably.
    Does it play well? Absolutely.
Will people fall for the marketing hype and buy it? Sure.
Does it show class from a distinguished and high-end guitar manufacturer? Nope.
Does my opinion matter? Nope and I couldn't care less. (It would be a different story if I was a shareholder.)
