Thanks for the info , I did expect one to be included .Can,t see the point in selling it without telling buyer to order at the same time .hb.

Now I feel like a right plonker , the battery must have fallen out while I was unpacking it .So now I have a couple of spares .

The one I bought for my son came with a battery.
    It's a nice tuner.

Must have just fallen out of the box. Not gonna complain too loud about a missing $2 battery. Just loaned my neice my planet waves clip-on til I grabbed a battery for the snark.

Just got a Snark yesterday and it came with a battery. They should pack everything in the balck bag and THEN put it in the box, IMHO. I bet it's common for the batteries to slip through the box ends.

All the Snarks I've bought (gave 6 away as Christmas gifts) had the batteries in a tiny ziplock bag. I think it's the best clip-on tuner I've tried - grabs the low E & A strings right away. Even gave one to my bass player. 8 or 9 bucks each from Amazon.

Took me awhile to find the battery in the box; I thought I'd been stiffed at first, too.

I wish I had ordered 3 or 4 instead of 1. Maybe I'll rectify that right now.

FYI - Dollar Tree stores sell a 3 pack of 2032's (yes, for $1!). I keep a pack in my gig bag.

Thanks for the heads up on these tuners. $10.95 @ buy.com ($2.10 shipping).

Ah - sorry Henry. I didn't compute Elgin being someplace other than Illinois.

Glad to hear you have a version of the Dollar Tree (the "Pound Tree"? ;))
