Is this what the kids call "Math Rock"?
I dunno but it was pretty dang cool! I was really struck with how relaxed she was. Smiling the whole time. I make stupid faces trying to play simple parts. Guess I’m just more of a showman
too many fancy chords
If only John had met her instead of Yoko, things may have ended up quite differently.
NOW HOLD ON!!!
I know some of you are thinking this is a racist thing to type but I only meant that she is a very good guitar player instead of a shrieking banshee. She seems very pleasant and not like someone who seemed like a smothering influence. The rest of the band probably would have liked her better and she may have had better opportunities to become famous as a musician in her own right, unlike what happened with Yoko.
Plus, she's Asian... which is GOOD for diversity.
...and we all know John had a thing for diverse women. That's a good thing. She's good. And diverse. That's all.
I wouldn't call it "rock" but I'm impressed!
The jury in my head is still out on Percussive Guitar, especially with open or altered tuning and excessive tapping.
I’ve heard some that I thought was nice, but most seem over done, with no clear melodic direction.
I know that I sound like a crotchety old man putting down the young ones. I am crotchety, but I don’t mean to be putting anyone down.
Play on grasshopper’s.
Love that t-style!
This lady shreds.
Bravo! Shibuya is a busy ward in Tokyo, known for the Shibuya Crossing: the music fits!
Very well done. Thanks for posting. I'm heading for Shibuya later this year!
my favorite Math Rockers.
