What is a sign of spring in your area.
I saw a herd of about 13 Antelope migrating north today
Lots of geese migrating . Vast quantities of geese .
Floods, water everywhere, glad I have a pickup that’s high off the ground just to drive on my street
Longer days. There's snow on the ground but I didn't have to bundle up much for my run and some of the day's tasks. The water sounds of spring melt time.
The grass is pretty green, and the wildflowers were showing a few weeks ago.
We did have a coupla light freezes, though.
Any day now!

First day it's been above zero
Right now , it is Snow Geese . You will not see the geese we get here , but you will see geese .
Over the last week or so , they have been staying at Middle Creek by the thousands .
Earlier today , I say a flight of hundreds . Wave after wave , they passed overhead . A truly incredible sight as the last ones appeared just before the leading group was out of sight .
Time change and weeds.
We are on a major flyway
Millions of geese spring and fall.
We will have lots of resident Canada's untill fall.
Scary thing is some snows have started staying too.
Must be really crowded on the tundra
The icicles from the roof have reached the snow.
In parts well known, an about-face petty melt
Snow is fading fast ~ now in the middle of mud season for a few weeks.

The occasional smell of skunk in the air and the sound of birds chirping in the morning when the sun comes up.
Geese are returning.
There’s also the fabulous Milwaukee look of cargo shorts with two sweaters. Saw that yesterday!
47,000 Sandhill Cranes spend most of the day spiraling upward like a giant tornado . When they get so high that you can only hear but not see them without binoculars the cranes hit the jet stream and are gone to the far North like waves of bombers .
