This is my latest build. Musikraft roasted maple neck. 9 1/2" radius. Body by a seller from eBay. Some kind of walnut top and butternut back. I had him make a custom F-hole. I finished the body with Tru-Oil, about 5 coats with 0000 polishing between coats and a final polish after the last coat.

The neck pickup is a Twisted Tele (originally a steel-pole Dirty Harry but I pulled it) and the bridge pickup is a Fralin. The bridge is a Callaham vintage with angled brass saddles.

The wiring harness is a five way with the following switch positions:

I bought the pickguard from Lays Guitar in Akron.

I love the Salamander sound hole! I am working on modding my Furian Ash with new pickups and neck and then I will get pictures up.

beautiful Southpaws you have there my friend, do you also play right handed? I have owned a few right handed guitars in the past and have been thinking about picking up another one if I can for cheap, still going to play lefty full time though

Hi Lakesure and thank you my friend. No I'm a complete lefty, can't play right handed to save my life. The two Gordon Smith GS1's in the middle - double cut away is mine, single cut away right handed is my teenage son's.

    homemade tele

Ultralight weight ash, Sperzel staggered locking tuners, Kingwood fingerboard, Harmonic Design pickups,
.finished dark brown and sanded to emphasize grain, then stained with mix of yellow red and brown to get a nice vintage yellow. Added a little more red so the maple neck looked the same color when stained.
