What is the Obama Wah?
It’s a distortion and fixed Wah pedal. So it acts like a Wah pedal that is set at one position. Like an EHX **** fight. Gets you a Frank Zappa, or Brian May tone. Maybe think 'money for nothing' by dire straits. It’s a Belgian pedal so no statement or support for any political figure is stated it implied. By me either. I love it actually. It’s a 'sprinkle lightly' rather than "always on" pedal.
I’ve not seen a different before, though I’m sure there are many. I use a Jekeko Wah by Custom Guitar Gear. Sweet piece of kit.
Give that extra oomph to a lead or even a tasty rhythm part
I rock the Q Tron too. Working on a cover of Amber by 311—works perfectly.
Updated one of my boards. Out Wampler Reverb and in JHS Reverb. Nice to have two footswitchable settings
Just can’t stop swapping the board around. This incarnation will clear out the old auditory canals!
Some of y'all have turned stomp boxes into a fetish.
the 2 Keeley workstations are new, and I just had to get a pedalboard to keep e-thing together
Really digging the varied tones I can get out of this small set-up!!
This is the latest version of my board.
How do you like the new TC Chorus? I've been thinking about getting it to replace my old Boss CH-1
I like it a lot. Admittedly, I don’t use tons of chorus, but it suits my needs well. I’ve never played the original Boss Dimension C, so i don’t know how it is as a direct clone, but again, I’m very happy with it. I use the 4th preset. Sometimes I’ll use the 1st and 4th together when I want things super washed out in Chorus.
That Pitchblack looks so cool...
That's been the whole purpose of this blog dude... for the last 536 pages... at least... bahahahahahah
A second board is in the works. This one is just the essentials for most gigs. I think I can comfortably fit this on a 17x12 board. I could downsize a little more, but since I have the gear I might as well use it.
I try now some plastic caps first.
Replaced my fenderDI with the Mooer Radar and added a stereo DI with an A/B switch to use line-in/stereo inputs.
