My Jazzmaster! Freakin' love it.
Another previously posted but now updated model-the Maya clone:
Under the freedom of information act, I request free information.
1.Did you build this?
2.Do you have anymore pics?
4.What bridge and vibrato is that you used?
3.Do you find this guitar sounds better with larger or smaller diameter strings?
Officially jealous Coolmeter sent in for repairs
That gold Jazzmaster is just amazing. This color needs to return.
slightly different than shoreline though, but it looks amazing.
some incredible guitars in this thread, i've got a mid 2000s CIJ jazzmaster, it was my first real fender, i swapped out most of the parts and it's still my main guitar, i'll never part with it got a mascis squier jm too, it's just badass. will try to get some pics, i pretty much played the CIJ to death and it aged really well, everyone always seems to think it's a vintage one
Here's my Fano JM6 I picked up last year, korina bodied with Lollar Imperials...
An oddball, Fernandes Vertigo Elite...
Yamaha JC 300T with EMGs...
Everyone see the Troy Van Leeuwen JM yet? I'm not normally into sig models, but I really wish I had to cash for this one just for the color alone!
That Troy one is nice! I love Queens of the Stone Age, too. As always, no leftie so I live vicariously through you guys. Go buy one! Do it!
Here is my pv '65 Jazzmaster together with my pv '64 Tele. They are really the most perfect pairing one can imagine. Add a decent amp and you're in heaven. I love the matching headstock.
Here's my newly acquired '69RI Mustang in Sonic blue.
Getting there... with my first Mustang type offset attempt.... year of the horse and all...
I changed from PG switches to a toggle switch on the plate... so, I put a strat type jack mount in.... more surface chrome...
Metallic blue with Holo sprinkles... administered twixt thumb and forefinger like fairy dust onto the wet colour coat... and a few sprinkles into the clear coat for good measure....
I'll put a second can of clear over the body soon, just to be sure the flakes are well buried,,....
My '65 "L-Series" Jazzy... I got this beauty in February this year - all I can say is that it is an amazing guitar and my absolute No.1 bar none. The strat knobs, the pots underneath them (the old ones were done, I had them replaced with 500k pots), a few screws and the saddle are non-original, everything else is. I also needed to have it re-fretted.

It's a bit unusual in that it's got an ash body underneath the sunburst finish.

There was only one previous owner who seemingly played the hell out of this guitar and I'm very busy continuing this "tradition" .

Regrettably, I don't have any good pics showing the neck - it's a soft V-shape and very well worn-in, like the rest of the guitar.
Hope you enjoy the pics,
have a nice weekend, everybody!
One of my Talmans I got a couple weeks ago just finished putting in the gfs liverpools.
That looks fantastic! I thought my Mustang GAS was relieved with the above Sonic Blue one. Thanks for messing that up!!
Here are some more shots of the guitar I've dubbed "Mariko." Geek fact: Mariko was one of Wolverine's girlfriends in the X-Men comics/movies.
My latest acquisition: a MIJ 1965 Fender Mustang Reissue in Daphne Blue. The switches were shot when I got it, replaced them this week. Great guitar!
And my Hanson Cigno. Mahogany body, with set mahogany neck. P90s and a Bigsby. I love this guitar!
My Jaguarillo with D.Allen Voodoo Blues.
I didn't know they made the Jaguarillo in sunburst. Beautiful guitar! How do you like the pickup configuration in that bad boy?
