    It's a "style" of telecasters, usually with TV Jones/Gretsch style pickups, and the control cavity is routed from the back of the guitar.

    My apologies for taking two years to respond on this question...:eek:

    I stained it. I really want to sand it back down to and re-do it as I'm not completely happy with the look of the finish. It feels nice though, but I believe it could look better. :cool:

    WD Music Products. It was a direct replacement; the screw holes and everything lined right up.

    The body is 2 piece alder, the neck is birdseye maple with a brazillian rosewood fretboard and paua dots. The pickups are TV Jones. Finish is sherwood green and clear nitro lacquer.

    Got this couple of weeks ago.
    Swapped the bridge, changed the pickguard. Sound and plays great!
