Finished this coffee table a little while ago. I think it's mango wood, no fancy joinery, but I got to practice my hand planing a bit. I stained it to match some of our oak furniture and then oiled it.

I've built few more or less road bikes for myself for slightly different uses. Quite humble though compared to beautiful ones by JohnnyMagic! You might notice my obsession to a certain color again...

I'm not even into bikes at all, but I love that.

    Thanks!

Red/Black is also my favorite color scheme.
Just have too many that color already and customers KEEP ordering red, even over clear carbon.

I've been a scale modeller since I was a kid. Here's one of my favorites.

I built a dollhouse for my daughter a few years back. I made it Barbie-sized, so it ended up being rather large...
I really enjoyed making it, as well as a few pieces of furniture for it - I'd never done anything like that, at least on that scale, and felt that I was connecting with my dad in a way...he passed away less than a year before my daughter was born, and was great with his hands. I know he would have appreciated my project.

Nice! I have been constructing my buildings the "easy" way! The logs have been pre-cut, so assembling of the walls is like painting by numbers, like this log will go there...
