Love the pup with his/her bone. Very appropriate.
Can you tell us more about your tele?
My latest, picked up via a trade at TGP (thanks mocaster!):
I absolutely love it. It's my first thinline. It's a bit mellower than my '52 Thinskin RI. I'm not usually one for flashy finishes on guitars, but for some reason, when I saw this one I just had to have it.
72 Custom Sunburst w/ Rosewood
Blam , is that a 1955 Tele ?
Well...basically saved me from posting mine, (not smart enough to upload Pics but will get it one of these days). I had a "Tuxedo" but also swapped out my pickguard for the "Black Matte" and really like it. Mine's an '06 MIM with the difference being black, uncovered, BL Keystone Pups in the neck, (and Bridge), Black "Go-Toh" tuner's and a Fender chrome "Fat Finger" running parallel just above the nut. I also have stainless steel "extra knurl" knobs from Armadillo Hardware but for the most part the Teles look very similiar.
Here are mine:
The Black on is the second guitar I bought, the first new one for me. She's my #1. She's a 1992 MIM Standard, loaded with EMG humbuckers and a black guard.
The Blue one I got 2 years ago. Since this pic was taken, I've put a parchment guard on her and swapped the Hot Rails for DiMarzio Area Ts. She's a 1992 MIM Standard too.
2008 MIM Tele with mint green Warmuth pick guard. New Seymour Duncan SM-1 Vintage Mini Humbucker.
Leather pickguard 2011 American Standard 3-tone
I darkened it down a little with black dye. What do you think?
Is th epickguard leather or wood?
Here's my telecaster my father gave me. It's a 67' modded by Danny Gatton.
Nice! What kind of CC-pickup is that? At least looks like an original one...
