    62 RI MIJ

This is mine, a 62 Custom RI MIJ. Perloid pickguard, Harmonic Design Vintage plus in neck position, DiMarzio Areat T in bridge position (with a split switch on the tone knob). I tried a few PU setups before settling to this one, which seems perfect right now. I love this guitar, it is always a joy to play it. It is my main guitar when I play with my R&B's band.

Tradition Jerry Reid Pro, HB & Rail (both splittable), hot single at the bridge, Trem King vibrato--doesn't go out of tune--lovely quilted maple, wide flat neck. Great guitar.

It might not have won anything in the 2012 contest, but I'll challenge all the winners in a race down three flights of stairs in total darkness carrying just their guitars.

    My two:
Old Girl is a 78/69 hybrid that I've had since she was a new '78 model.
    Area T's in both positions.
New Girl is a 2012 Telebration Lite Rosewood model.
If I lost all my others, I'd be okay as long as I had these two.

    Hello,
Here is a story about what used to be my once owned Telecaster.

My wife and I had a house in Sydney, Australia. And there was stashed stolen gear found under our house, dating back to the 1980s. As nobody had claimed it, we became the legal owners of this stash. One such item found under our house, was a 1959 Fender Telecaster with a maple neck, all rusted and wrecked!
We ended up giving that guitar to ace Australian blues guitarist Gerry Joe Weise who was on the lookout for a vintage Telecaster.
As we have been good friends over the years, I gave it to Gerry Joe, knowing it would be put to good use on stage and in the studio.

This photo shows what blues guitarist Gerry Joe Weise, had customized on the old 1959 Fender Telecaster. He told me he has also kept all the original replaced guitar parts as well.

If you want to check out some of Gerry Joe Weise's top blues guitar playing, go to he's website, there is some great Tele stuff on there too! https://sites.google.com/site/gerryjoeweise

I will miss having that guitar, but I am sure Gerry Joe is putting it to great use!

My friend and bandmate owns the 1982 Fullerton '52 reissue on the left. The others are mine - an '86 MIJ Custom Esquire, an AVRI '62 Custom Telecaster, and a MIM 60's Classic.

Here's mine, a late 90's MIJ Custom with MIM Telecaster Deluxe (large headstock) neck. I replaced the 'original' rosewood Tele neck this weekend and couldn't be happier.

Here's my latest partscaster with a MIM Classic 50s neck, MIM Standard body, Kluson Deluxe tuners, Stew Mac Golden Age PUPs, Wilkinson comp saddles. The Golden Age PUPs really deliver ... pure vintage Tele tone.
