I think that might be my fault..
Although, mine's a Squier and yours looks like the real thing? MIA?.
I'll play, My 2 pickup Esquire and "Nopartscaster."
I finally got one of my own.
Jeez wheeze....that's kin gorgeous.
Really lovely and the grain is just wild!
Please do an NGD thread and talk about the parts and build.
Love it! It's the twin to the one you made for me! And that black Esquire is looking great, too.
I don't make threads about anything I buy, build, own. Too many people want to just knock ya down, take pot-shots, tell ya how they would have done it...yadda yadda . That's one thing this place is REALLY bad about.
But to answer your questions, it's a 2 pc swamp ash weighing a hair under 4 pounds (raw body).
Finished, reliced and assembled by me.
SME TL69 pickups.
Fender stamped bridge with my wifes BD stamped in it.
Reverse switch mod (I didn't have one like that yet).
AllParts V-shaped neck. 9.5 radius. Finished by me.
I went with the one-ply pickguard. It just looks better IMO.
All in all it's a nice guitar and it is a clean sounding thang too, not bluesey or dirty. Nore Merle type sound.
I just got the Vibrolux Reverb last week. It is OK, but not as good as my Deluxe to my ears. I may move it on later.
I didn't do a NAD for the same reasons I already stated. Toxic to show your stuff off a lot of times.
Thanks for asking though.
Thanks! Yea...it looks like the one I made you, but after seeing it, I had to have one too. Appreciate it!
This thread is relevant to my interests :-"
Thanks for the detail - much appreciated and a lovely build.
To be fair, this forum has been kind to my NGD and build threads. I don't care much about critique but I do take it all on board. The haters can hate and, they demean themselves and, mostly, it is obvious.
I care more about people like me that come to this good site for wisdom and experience. If in is not shared it is lost.
I don't know how to post a picture to show you all my Tele. Last week I purchased a 1964 AVRI Tele in White Blonde. I love the way that guitar plays and feels. The sound is incredible.
