My Mesa Express 5:50 Plus and Bugerra V22 and V5. THe Mesa is just wonderful, goes from five to twenty five to fifty watts, just about any sound you can think of, from pristine clean to full balls to the wall distortion , it's in there !
'65 Tremolux; '66 Ampeg Jet; New SCx2 in custom made 1 x 12 cab-
BobM, sooo jealous of that Tremolux!
This just arrived in my office today. Haven't had the chance to pop the tubes in and play it yet.
'94 Concert Amp. 60 watts, 1 x 12" combo. I'm hoping it will work as a Deluxe++ or mini Twin.
I bought it from a guy in your neck of the woods. Head and cabinet match; original pre-amp tubes; original 10" Oxfords-just a great amp. Is the Concert 4 10s? I have loved 10s ever since I got the Tremolux!
I have a Bandmaster with 2 12"s. Love the punch of a closed back cabinet. The Concert is a 1 12". I was looking for a small but loud-clean combo. I have a Vibroverb RI and I love the 2 10s, but it's brownface voiced and doesn't stay clean like I need for my band.
Your music corner, with the gear and beautiful surroundings looks perfect!!
Wow! What is that? Looks like a tape recorder . . . tweed deluxe? Something put out by Fender or?
Never seen anything like that . . . (I must lead a sheltered life).
My current amps 007s
Most of them anyway. Most used 5E3 and PR but all get played.
Marvin B, that blackface Vibro Champ is BEAUTIFUL.
I really enjoyed looking through this thread. These amps have been a great inspiration for me.
I mostly use one of these:
with a Bandit Transtube for backup.
These days, I am really digging these two. The 73 SF stays at band rehearsal space and sounds wonderful. The cleans are so great.
4 pc band, man it has no trouble at all.
The 63 Blonde stays at home and wows me daily. Lately I have been running it paired with another amp. My Bandmaster. A little harmonic tremolo
from the blonde is great, when paired with my BM.
The amp has an interesting EQ. Different than any other Fender amp I own. Glorious sounds here.
A 1990 Fender '63-reissue Vibroverb. I bought it new-in-the-box in late 1992. Replaced the original reproduction Oxfart, erm...Oxford speakers when they blew after 9 years of use and abuse. Changed V1 to a 12AY7 for lower gain/use with a harp mic. Branded it with an Armadillo brand, in case she wandered away from the herd.
Best amp I've ever owned, hands down.
