I'd just like to add that yes, Ullrich, this is a great track indeed. Very nice tone and playing. At times I was wondering if you were using your fingers instead of a pick.

Yes, I played the first two choruses with my fingers; for all the others I used a light and medium plek.

After all the good versions of this track, I decided to go with a Jazzier take on it. I cut the backing track down to 3 minutes and also faded out to get an exit from the longer version. I used my Super Champ as well with a simulated Fender 57 Deluxe, reverb and some light compression. Playing my Kirn Strat with Bill Lawrence neutrals, second position.

Nice fat smooth sound on this one.

Like your guitar sound and, more to the point, the mood you create with your playing - relaxed, dreamy. Very nice. I would like to give you advice on your reverb: at least on my laptop your guitar sound sounds a little blurred because of too much reverb.

Wow Tutm, that's a really nice track. I think you expressed exactly the right feel to compliment the backing track. Really, really nice. Well done mate! :D

Kinda felt like someone had to go this way. Sixths and octaves. Coffee and armagnac. Squier CV the whole way; straight into Garageband, BF Super Reverb with a little compression/sustain emulation stuff. One take, except for the ending, which I tried to make it sound like an actual ending.

Another more jazzy approach to the track. Love Your sixths and octaves. You played it unagitated in a nice way.

I'll bravely (and maybe foolishly at the same time) request another country track.

I´ll take whatever comes (with the exception of metal); I like the challenge.

I am also slipping under the wire with a September track this afternoon....(g)

I'd like an uptempo shuffle a la Pride And Joy...and anything kinda funky along a Little Feat-kinda New Orleans gumbo groove would be cool for October...thanks for doing this!

    Whew! Just made it!

I added a pedal steel to the C to G changes.
There is a clean strat and acoustic panned hard left and hard right, playing a dreamy arpeggio thing.
The lead is my RW Tele.

All guitars recorded with POD Farm - my DAW is Reason 7.

I think maybe it got a little crowded, but I just wanted to get it up today. Comments and suggestions welcomed!
