It's sad to see. I live in eastern Canada, just under an hour from Maine. We have been going through a really cold streak the last week or so. Temperatures have been around -20 C with wind chills around -34 C. In the past week I have seen 2 adds on the Canadian buy and sell site (kijiji) where people are trying to sell stuff dirt cheap in order to get heat. A few days ago someone was selling a $20 gift card from Long & McQuade (Canadian guitar chain) in order to buy wood pellets for their stove. They said they had no wood pellets and there house was freezing. Just make an offer and come pick it up. Now today someone is selling a Traynor YCV50B for $180. He said they have no heat and $180 will get him a cord of wood for the wood stove. I had that exact amp a few years ago and traded it in toward a new amp head. I got $350 for it. It's sad to see people so desperate for heat that they are almost giving stuff away. Anyway, I've just been looking at these things and it's been on my mind. Happy New Year everyone, and stay warm.
