I am going to try a strat pickup paired with a broadcaster or JD bridge. Will be using a 9.5 radius fretboard. Any issues with a stagger vs flat pole pickup in the neck of this radius?

of the SSL-1, SSL-2, APS-1, APS-2 which would be best in a tele neck?

No best - just what is best for you. All good pickups, but I use Aps1 - then that's just me.

Stagger makes no difference really, so don't factor that in.

I honestly don't find much difference in stagger vs. nonstagger. I don't even consider whether or not they are staggered when I purchase pickups.

I really like those SSL-1 pickups. I use them quite a bit in my builds.

Nice guitar, wonder where I've seen that one. I too don't notice a difference in staggered on a tele. However I've played staggered righty pickups in my lefty strat and non staggered. I chose the non staggered. The reverse righty staggered gave me cool Jimi tones but I wanted even sounds.
