    Yeah,
For some reason I've got this urge to play Rockabilly guitar. I still have my Rock & Blues Set Ups...
But I have been getting into Rockabilly lately. I'm working on a Rockabilly Pedal Board, I have the guitars and amps. I can feel it calling me.

Anyone else here into Rockabilly? The Original stuff?

Anybody in a Rockabilly Band? Rockin' a Rockabilly Guitar/Amp/Pedal Board?

I don't listen to much of the original stuff, but I love JD McPherson. He strays into the rockabilly pretty often. I've seen him live a few times and he burns the house down.

I listen to all sorts of music. I play Contemporary Christian Worship, Country, and Rock-a-billy.
The most fun to play is hands down Rock-a-Billy.
Try Marty Stewart... he’s still swinging hard.

Love it. Got nothing to add except maybe Levi and the Rock-cats (however you spell it).

Tasty, tasty stuff. Get a nice tape echo for some slapback, a bit (lot) of verb on a slightly dirty amp...

Right on, happy to help.
It sure sounds like it, and there is of course an upright bass with nylon (I think) strings.

Gretsch is the stereotypical Rockabilly machine, but Teles are quite capable at it as well (because of course they are).
In any event, I rather enjoy having both. :D
