I’ve heard that Roger Waters is a foodie and enjoys cooking. He likes spicy foods, seafood and stuff.

Any other rock stars really into eating?

Used to be john popper, but I recall him saying that he enjoyed food because it's the one thing people would never bust your balls about (compared to people monitoring your alcohol and drug use and telling you that you need help).

You're missing the point. It's in his context, not the strawman you're creating. That's what he said, that as a rockstar, people are focused on your drinking and drug use, and if your addiction is food, people sort of let it go (they did for him).

In terms of being busted for being fat. I weigh 205 and am 5'10". My wife tells me I'm fat every single day. I'm aware that it happens.

Whoa...way more mature a post than I thought I’d see after reading the title...hahaha!! I like what I had in my head better ;)

I will proceed to not be so mature and offer this...

I'm pushing the definition of "rock star" pretty aggressively but here are two:

Steve Albini -- for a while he posted recipes on his blog. If I recall he had a great gnocchi recipe and some good game recipes.

Steven Satterfield -- cheating a bit here because Satterfield is the highly regarded James Beard award winning chef of the restaurant Miller Union in Atlanta. Before that, however, he played guitar in a band Seely that released a handful of albums in the mid 90s and were actually quite good if a bit obscure.

I think Zack Brown does it the right way. He has a chef that tours with his band. Even feeds the fans I've heard.

Walter Becker (RIP) owned a burger joint.

Michael Anthony of Van Halen has a hot sauce company.

Paul McCartney's cookbook has some great recipes.

I believe a Mr. Daryl Hall enjoys food. Doesn't he have a section during his shows where he sits down with his guests and eats?

I imagine that, like the rest of us, all rock stars are 'into eating'.

Otherwise they'd be dead rock stars.

Am I taking this too literally? :)
