I think Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley wear wigs but who else does? Does Mick Jagger?
Not a full-on wig, but Steven Tyler definitely has a "system" of some sort.
a couple others with 'systems'
Why is balding such a bad thing for people.........
I really wonder about Jeff Beck.
Another one comes to mind that I won't mention.
Billy Gibbons has hair but not sure if he is balding or not.......if so his face makes up for it
+1 for Jeff Beck - it's exactly the same as it was in 1965.
I went bald at 26 - I wet shave my head now every 2 days. It's the only answer for me - but I have a keen eye for a syrup (of figs... Wigs... ;-)
Re: Ron Wood - Beat me to it Geoff!
I'm 99% sure he's balding/bald. I seem to recall seeing him without a had somewhere and he def had some hairloss going on.
springsteen definitely had plugs at some point. i remember seeing him in the 90's and when his head was soaking wet you could see he was very bald as an eagle in the back and did a mad comb over. then there was a summer wear he wore a hat almost everywhere he went to make club appearances.. and now on stage is is very careful not to mess up his hair, lol
Elliot Easton or so I hear
Funny that: He started the Engineer Boot as Metal Footwear meme to hide the fact that he was wearing platform soles; Notice that you never see him on the same side of the stage as the bassist and the singer
(wonder if he had Marshall make downsized stacks, ala the reduced scale doors used on Hollywood sets to make the leading man look taller )
You'd think he'd be "All about the music"
Not a pop star, but I was surprised to find out last week that John Travolta is bald. They had a pic of him after playing tennis without his toupe.
The guys in Twisted Sister wear wigs now, because some of them have either hair loss or day jobs.
Ron Wood? I don't think so. Jeff Beck? Maybe. he does color it. Jagger? No, but he colors it. Springsteen? I dunno. Billy Gibbons, yes. Same with Steven Tyler. Blackmore has worn a toupee or wig for years.
The president of Hair Club For Men claimed he made a hairpiece for Jimi Hendrix back in the day.
Elton John, I'm almost certain

I am sensing Neil Schon, but can't say for certain.
My radar is always on for this kind of thing due to my own insecureties of noticing a little loss myself. No wig in my future, but if I do, it will be a jet black man perm with a slight mullet/beaver tail and a skunk stripe dead center.
Yeah, when you see him in public today, he's got a lot more hair than he did 30-plus years ago.
