    Damn. I saw him play a few times. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Gotta love the surf sound.

    Didn't he once say, when asked how he wanted to be remembered something like, "as a cool dude that made your ears bleed."
    I think he did that.

    I think he also once said in an interview that he made the faces he did because playing hurt his fingers.

    I really didn’t know to much about Dick Dale. From the story that I just read he sounds like he was a warrior and fighter and a good guy. Wish his family condolences and may he finally have some peace.
