I've just purchased one and I'm anxiously awaiting it's arrival. It was after watching this shootout that I pulled the trigger....

any of you folks own one? Any thoughts, ideas or wisecracks appreciated!!!

I have one. Great bang for the buck if you like what it does, which I do. Sounds great with single coils, humbuckers, and P90s.

I bought mine off of Reverb, paid $110.00 w/free shipping from a fellow by the name of Ray Ybarra, and Yes he goes by the name Stratoman's Earthly Realm....I'd been watching it, it was the best price I'd seen, and got an email from Reverb saying there's been another offer, so I immediately bought it...sorry....

Great pedal in my opinion - musical and toneful. It can fill out a thin sound, add some grind to your tone, juice the front end of your amp.

Ken at Rimrock has been a pleasure to deal with in my experience.

    Same.

IMO, not only great bang for the buck, but great independent of price.

I found out from Ken that mine is the 482nd MO ever built. It's the 64th in Gold. And it has the 1N34 and OA128 diodes. This info is handwritten on the side of the box my MO came in.

There were two MO's on Reverb yesterday morning, as of now they've both been sold! There are 70 Archer Ikons available, 60 of the Wampler Tumnus are available....seems like there are never more than two available at any one time and they're usually sold within 72 hours....it seems like folks are holding onto their Mythical's.....

Great thread. Mythical Overdrive builder and Rimrock Effect CEO Ken here. Any questions just let me know and I will try and help. I hang out over at TGP mostly but will check in here periodically.

Enjoy your MOs everyone and RJ is correct, more VSMO (enclosures) on the way and scheduled to arrive on Friday. Each MO is handbuilt personally by me and the current build time is around 6 days. I will get this to zero this week and then it will jump up once the VSMOs arrive. Can't keep these things in stock.

There were two Mythical's on Reverb yesterday, a silver one that was 34/126, and a surf green VS, they both are now gone!!! They sell so fast it's amazing. This time it was two in 24 hours!!!

I've got a Red TFK126 with the switchable diodes that is almost always on. Hey Ken, (@Comfort Player) is one side of my red MO the same as what you now call Vintage Spec?
