Is the ASAT's headstock longer than a standard Fender Telecaster headstock?

Yes. I found out the hard way...

When I dropped my new Trib ASAT Classic BSB into an SKB hard case, the headstock flattened the felt all the way in! ☹

If you need a case, my G&L came with a beautiful G&G case. I bet they would be happy to help. But it sounds like you are wondering if a G&L will fit in a case made for a Fender?

See below ... for the ASAT (Tribute) Classic Blueboy semi-hollow - the answer is ... yes, even allowing for the '64 being slightly angled back cf to the G&L.

Not wondering. After that unpleasant experience, I now KNOW...

...so I threw the baby out with the bathwater - and sold my ASAT Classic!

Yes. An ASAT will not fit in a Tele case.
