    This one...

Do they come with an ashtray cover? If not will the bridge accept one? I have yet to own a Tele with the cover (nor can take one), and I want one so bad.

They don't come with the cover.
Don't know if one would fit.

looks like an Ash Tray cover would fit on that, most likely.

They just press fit over the bridge (sometimes you have to bend them a bit so they are not loose). The bridges they WON'T work on are the ones that have an entirely flat base plate (like an Affinity, for example)

They fit. I bought the $15 Fender cover. Fit perfectly.

Why would you want one? They got the name "ashtray" because old players took them off and used them as an ashtray. They were considered useless other than that.

My stock ‘08 CVC accepts the ash tray perfectly.

    In space with Ziggy
The ashtray renders the guitar unplayable other than strumming chords with no palm muting or playing fingerstyle imo. It even limits the sounds you can get from simple strumming. They do look cool though.
To play lead with one you would need to radically alter your playing to the point of being uncomfortable.

Eyguitarparts had them for $7 I think? I bought one. I have the CVC too. Didn't think to order 2-3 covers for my other ashtrays.

The shipping still made it cheaper than the Fender one. Of course you don't get the pretty Fender packaging.

    Jazz cigarettes...

I'm not a fan at all, but like @Chunkocaster says, they look cool.
